LifeMeetsAI is operated by Carl, based in the EU. This policy explains what data I collect, why, and what I do with it.

The short version

I collect very little. I don’t sell your data. I don’t run invasive tracking. If you never contact me or subscribe to anything, I barely know you exist.

What I collect

When you visit the site

  • Analytics data (via Google Analytics or Plausible): anonymized information about which pages you view, how long you stay, your approximate country, and the type of device you’re using. This is aggregated — I can’t identify you personally from this data.
  • Server logs: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept briefly for security and debugging.

When you email me

  • Your email address and anything you write to me. I keep this to respond and, where relevant, follow up. I don’t share it.

When you subscribe to my newsletter (if/when launched)

  • Your email address. Used only to send newsletters you signed up for. Unsubscribe anytime.
  • Retailers (like Amazon) set their own cookies to track purchases through my links. I only see aggregated commission data — not who bought what. Those cookies are governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell your data.
  • I don’t share your data with third parties except service providers strictly necessary to run the site (hosting, analytics, email).
  • I don’t run cross-site tracking or build advertising profiles.
  • I don’t use your data for AI training.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies:

  • Essential cookies for the site to function (session, preferences)
  • Analytics cookies (anonymized)
  • Affiliate tracking cookies set by retailers when you click their links

You can disable cookies in your browser. The site will still work.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you’re in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

  • Know what data I hold about you
  • Ask for a copy
  • Ask me to correct or delete it
  • Object to processing
  • File a complaint with your data protection authority

Third-party services

The site uses:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, CDN) — privacy policy
  • Google Analytics or Plausible (analytics)
  • Amazon, Impact, Awin, and other affiliate networks (when you click affiliate links)

Each has its own privacy policy. When you interact with their services through my site, their policies apply.

Changes

If I change this policy in a meaningful way, I’ll update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify subscribers.
